Many Christians want to be in the perfect will of God but don’t know how to get started.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

What conforms a Christian to this world? Un-renewed minds. All battles are won or lost in the area of the mind.

We must gain wisdom and understanding with a steady diet of the Word of God.

Proverbs 4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Where do I start?

1. Repent.

Read Chapter 51 in the book of Psalms, then read it again and make it your prayer of repentance and God will set your feet on a rock.

1John1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2. Make the Word of God final authority in your life.

Whatever the Word says is right; make whatever adjustments necessary to get in line with it.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you.

2Tim2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

3. Begin to pray and seek God, find the sheep fold you belong in.

First, before you seek God about where to go to work or what school to go to. Before you deal with anything, find out where your church is and get in it. Get involved, serve and pour your life into it.

4. Find out with what ministry you are to partner with concerning “Go ye into all the World and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15) If you can’t go then you’re going to have to send somebody because there is nobody exempt from that calling.

5. Give thanks.

This is the assignment of the body of Christ. When you are in the Church where God called you to be; that’s where your job is, that’s where your success is, that’s where your protection is, that’s where your spiritual life is rooted. Your career will take off! When you are in the church you belong, the revelation of the spirit of God will let you know what he’s called you to do.

Dear Father God, thank you for preparing me, for teaching me, may your plan for my life and ministry be perfected in me.
